Founded in 1984, the Asian Financial Society (AFS) is a globally oriented but Asia-focused, non-profit organization of
business people and professionals in the financial community, sharing professional, educational and philanthropic
interests in common.
Over the years, AFS has thrived to build an open infrastructure to facilitate more effective information exchange
whether it's commercial, academic or professional. What draws many of its members to its goals and mission is their
professional interest in pursuing career and business opportunities related to finance and the Asian business markets.
In addition, the diversity of AFS membership's ethnicity and business directives brings a rich blend of experience and
interests together, from which many international and intercultural business and professional advancements are made
possible. In 2009, AFS has a reach of over 2000 listed members.
AFS is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c)3 nonprofit and your contribution is fully tax deductible.
